JOHN W. REHDER
FRIDAY, 2:30 P.M.

John W. Rehder, veteran tailor, one of Grinnell's few remaining Spanish War veterans and prominent Mason, passed away Tuesday afternoon in the Hine Veterans Hospital in Hines, Ill., after a lingering illness.

The body will lie in state at the residence, 521 Park street, from 2:30 o'clock this afternoon until Friday noon. Funeral services will be held from the James Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The body will be cremated and committal services will be held in Hazelwood cemetery at a later date.

PASSED AWAY

John Rehder, veteran tailor of Grinnell, passed away last Tuesday afternoon in the Hines Veteran hospital at Hines, Ill., after a lingering illness. Mr. Rehder was one of the few remaining Spanish War veterans.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the James Funeral Home at Grinnell.

Mr. Rehder was Mrs. Will Boyd's father; to her, and other relatives the Record extends sympathy.
