Young Son of Mr and Mrs I. E. Harry Died Last Friday

Forest Raymond, son of I. E. Harry and Eliza Jane Harry, was born near Montezuma, Iowa May 18, 1906 and died at his home three and one fourth miles northwest of Barnes City, December 13th 1918, aged 12 years 7 months and 5 days. Some three or four years ago he suffered an attack of infantile paralysis from which he never fully recovered. He had been in poor health the past year. He was the youngest of eight children and is survived by his father, mother, three sisters and four brothers; Mrs. Ethel Critchlow of Barnes City, Mrs. Ella Sutphin of Brooklyn, William C. Lewis I., Elza J., Cecil T., and Grace. He was baptized in the Fairmount Methodist Episcopal church in 1915. Through all his sickness he never complained, but was cheerful and happy. His favorite song was "Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam." This was beautifully sung at his funeral by Mrs Fred Graham, Erma Jones and Prof A.L. Lyon.

The services were held from the family home at 12 o'clock Sunday, December 15, conducted by Rev. C. Cray Jones of Barnes City. Burial was made in the Masonic I.O.O.F. cemetery at Montezuma, Ralph Stanford, Bernew Warwick, Henry Doonan and Kenneth Fisher acting as Pall bearers.

This is the first break in the family circle of this household and the family have the sympathy of the community.
