SERVICES FRIDAY
FOR MISS WILEY

Miss Blanche Wiley, 78, of Malcom, Iowa, died early Wednesday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Wilma Neville in Malcom. She had not been in the best of health the past few months.

The daughter of Henry and Ida Strong Wiley, Miss Wiley was born on Jan. 29, 1891 near Malcom. She had lived all of her life in Poweshiek County and had lived near Malcom and Grinnell.

Survivors include two brothers and two sisters--Raymond Wiley and Dellmar Wiley, both of Grinnell; and Mrs. Wilma Neville of Malcom; and Mrs. Lizzie Scruby of Montezuma.

Miss Wiley was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers--Helen Wiley, when an infant; Mrs. Edna Titcomb on May 10, 1968; John Wiley and Matt Wiley.

Funeral services for Miss Wiley will be held 2 p.m. Friday (Feb. 21) at the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. James Davidson, minister of the Malcom United Methodist church, officiating.

Organist will be Mrs. Willard Heffner and vocalist will be Mrs. Wayne Dayton.

Pallbearers will be Clarence Irwin, Garland Wiley, Lyle O. Wiley, Russell Wiley, Lyle Wiley, and Wavern McDowell. Flower bearers will be Mrs. Mabel Woods and Mrs. Wavern McDowell.

Burial will be made in Ivy Hill Cemetery at Malcom.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home.
