MARVIN P. NOELLER, 65

Marvin P. Noeller, 65,of Holiday Lake, Brooklyn, died Saturday, May 11, at his home at Holiday Lake. He also had a home in Maui, Hawaii.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Nevenhoven Funeral Home, Brooklyn. The Rev. Dennis Smith, of Madison Church of Christ, will officiate. Casketbearers will be Jamie Baumhoefener, John Baumhoefener, Dick Woods, Alan Lopata, Mike Newgaard and Howard Cress. Honorary casketbearer will be Wayne Ginn. Interment will be in Brooklyn Memorial cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.

Mr. Noeller was born July 12, 1936, in Cedar rapids, the son of Paul Noeller and Libby (Schultz) Noeller. He was educated in Cedar Rapids.

On July 24, 1971, he married Phyllis Ann Ginn in Cedar Rapids. He was in masonry for many years and worked for Bjornsen Construction of Cedar Rapids. Later he was the owner and operator of Lynn County Nursery, Center Point. For the past 16 years he had homes in Holiday Lake and Maui.

He enjoyed the outdoors, turtle hunting, fishing and gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis; two daughters, Tonya Brekke and Jody Pete Smith, both of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Lee Noeller of Wapello; a stepdaughter, Barbara Ann Deimerly of Brooklyn; two stepsons, Jamie (& Wendy) Baumhoefener of Garrison and John (& Leslie) Baumhoefener of Keystone, Iowa; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
