INEZ SANDERS

Inez Sanders, 83, of Turlock, Calif., formerly of Grinnell died Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Turlock following a long illness.

Burial was Nov. 18 in Turlock.

The daughter of Henry and Ella Zhart Ahrens, she was born Jan. 30, 1902, in Conroy. The family later moved to Grinnell where she graduated from Grinnell High School in 1920.

Following her marriage to Lyman Sanders, she and her husband lived in the Chester community until moving to Modesto, Calif., in 1933.

Survivors include one daughter, Cathryn Rogers; four sons, James, Alan, Clifford and Jerry; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of the Modesto area; and one sister, Jean Jordan of St. Louis, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyman; her parents; four brothers, H.A., Delmar, Sheldon and Alden.
