ISAAC WILSON

Isaac Wilson, son of Leander and Elizabeth Wilson, was born Feb. 7, 1881, near Livonia, Mo., in Schuyler county, and passed away at Iowa University hospital in Iowa City on Feb. 28, from a heart attack, his age being at the time of his death 63 years and 21 days.

In the year of 1901 he was united in marriage to Frances Hurley of Graysville, Mo. To this union two children were born, Mrs. Ruby Lee, of Austin, Minn., and Carl L. Wilson, in the United States Maritime Service, in Avalon, Calif.

In 1927 he moved to Grinnell, to make his home.

In the summer of 1931 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Mable Norman of Grinnell, who preceded him in death Oct. 31, 1943.

He leaves to mourn his death two children, Ruby and Carl, three step children, Mrs. Luella Cummings of Kansas City, Mo., Alfred Norman of Grinnell, and Ollie Norman of Tama, also three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Emma Robbins of Mendota, Mo., Mrs. Rosie Sumpter of Centerville, Mrs. Lillie Brown of Newton, and Felix Wilson of Grinnell and nine grandchildren, besides several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

He was a member of the Log Cabin church at Toledo, Iowa, was converted in the Pentecostal Faith, and was a faithful witness for his Lord wherever he went.
