2 GRINNELL WOMENOscar H. Carlstrom, 63, of Des Moines, died Oct. 26th at a Des Moines hospital following a long illness.
Services were held Oct. 29th at Grandview Park Baptist church in Des Moines. Burial was in Laurel Hill cemetery.
The youngest child of Oscar T. and Anna Harpster Carlstrom, he was born Apr. 1th, 1899. Mr. Carlstrom operated the Central Iowa Heating Co. and had lived in Des Moines since 1922.
In addition to his sisters, he is survived by his wife, Florence; two sons, Oscar, Jr. and Tom, both of Des Moines; a stepson, Kenneth Osipchack of Cedar Rapids; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bernice Morris of Canoga Park, Calif., and Mrs. Jennie Kinney of Des Moines; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edwin V. and Harry T. Carlstrom.
