PERRY DIES IN
PERRYTON, TEXAS

Word has been received in Grinnell of the death of Mrs. Charles N. Perry, who passed away recently at her home in Perryton, Texas. Mrs. Perry was born in Troy, N.Y. in 1841. She made her home in Grinnell for forty-five years and was one of Grinnell's helpful and influential women. For the last twenty years she had lived in Texas and was esteemed there as one of the most honored residents of her community. Two children, Nellie and George Perry, also make their homes in Perryton. The Perry family were well known and prominent during their residence in Grinnell and news of Mrs. Perry's death will be received with regret by many who knew her at that time.
