RITES TODAYMrs. Adelia Hughes, 82, died Friday morning at Friendship Manor.
She was born Oct. 22, 1890, in Berlin, Iowa, and had lived in Grinnell, Montezuma, and Newton.
Surviors include a daughter, Mrs. Lewis (Donna Mae) Osborn of Newton; a son, Everett Budolfson of Des Moines; seven grandchildren, including Mrs. Walter (Patty) Richardson of Grinnell; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Emil Jipp of Lincoln, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur in 1954.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hughes were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Monday) at the Johnson Funeral Home in Newton, with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Gladbrook.
