NORTON RITES HELD TUESDAY

Ruby W. Norton, 80, of Wilton died Friday, July 11, at her home in the northeast Iowa community.

Funeral services for Ruby W. Norton were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Wilton, with burial in Oakdale Cemetery.

Born Nov. 12, 1899, in Cedar County, she was the daughter of William and Alice Walter Whitmer. She married Charles W. Norton in Wilton on June 10, 1919.

Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Florence) Bates of Davenport, Mrs. Edwin (Lucille) Yedlik of Vinton, Mrs. Carl (Alice) Mealy of Mason City and Mrs. Robert (Miriam) Baumann of Grinnell; three sons, C. Wesley of Muscatine, William B. of Lowden, and Harold of Durant; and three sisters.
