DIES THURSDAY;
RITES SATURDAY

Mrs. Dale (Sharon M.) Scull, 26, of 1620 Summer Street, died Thursday afternoon at a local hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the James-Schalinske Home with the Rev. Chester E. Custer, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Organ music was provided by Mrs. Kathleen Heffner.

Serving as pallbearers were Gael Doane, Gerald Phipps, Jim Hoffert, Terry Gross, Dale Harris and William Peters. Interment was in the Rock Creek Cemetery.

The daughter of Max and Lois Lauber Crawford, she was born on December 9th, 1940, at Grinnell. She attended Grinnell schools and was a graduate of Grinnell high school, a member of the class of 1959.

On April 9, 1960, she was united in marriage with Dale Scull at the Lutheran church in Grinnell. Following their marriage they lived in Grinnell for a while and in January of 1962 moved to Richmond, Calif. They made their home there until July of 1965 when they returned to Grinnell.

She is survived by her husband, Dale; her two daughters, Regina De Ann, 5, and Rhonda Susanne, 2; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Crawford of Grinnell; two great-grandmothers, Mrs. Ada Young and Mrs. Bert Anderson, both of Grinnell; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lauber of Grinnell; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. John Crawford of Grinnell.

Also surviving are her three brothers, Ronald, Max Jr. and Steven Crawford, all of Grinnell; and her three sisters, Judith Crawford, Mrs. Gene (Beverly) Morrison and Carolyn Stodden, all of Grinnell.
