SHARON S. BRINKMEYER, 57

Sharon Sue Foster Brinkmeyer, 57, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, in the course of her second battle with cancer.

A Memorial Gathering was held Sunday, Sept. 7, at Elkins Resort, Priest Lake, Idaho. Graveside services and interment took place Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Westfield Cemetery at Grinnell. Watts Funeral Home of Montezuma was in charge of the arrangements.

Sue was born Sept. 20, 1945, at Grinnell to Bennie and Verona Foster. She graduated from Montezuma High School in 1963 and attended Ellsworth Jr. College at Iowa Falls. Sue lived in Tucson, Ariz., through the winter and Priest Lake, Idaho, during the summer.

Sue was a beautiful person who touched many lives with her kindness and generosity. She was loved dearly by many and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two sons, Todd Brinkmeyer of Post Falls, Idaho, and Gregg Brinkmeyer of Tucson, Ariz.; her mother, Verona Foster of Grinnell; a brother, Ron Foster of Des Moines; a sister, Charlotte Cox of McMinnville, Ore.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bennie Russell Foster, in 1989.
