MILDRED LILLIAN MORRISON

Mildred Lillian Morrison, 98, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015. A service was held at Windsor Manor in Grinnell at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, with Chaplain John Epperson officiating.

Mildred was born on May 14, 1917, in What Cheer to Ross and Golda Morrow Lamb, and attended What Cheer schools. She married Lewis Albert Morrison from Thornburg on Dec. 19, 1936. They were married 72 years and had four children.

She is survived by two children, Eugene Morrison of Grinnell and Betty Reams of Spokane, Wash.; two siblings; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, David Morrison of Hollywood, Calif.; one daughter, Marie Raber of Kellogg; six siblings; and two grandchildren.
