MRS. RENWICK
RITES SATURDAY

Beatrice K. Renwick, 76, died Thursday evening at Friendship Manor.

Funeral services for Mrs. Renwick were set for 4 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. James P. Russell, pastor of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, officiating. Organist was Kathleen Heffner. Pallbearers were her nephews, Jack Chedester, Max Chedester, Glenn Chedester, Gerald Foster, Floyd Hunter, and C. John Anderson.

Following cremation, burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.

The daughter of Charles Henry and Carrie Legg Kingdon, she was born Sept. 10, 1900, in Grinnell. She attended Grinnell schools.

She was married to Jo S. Rollins. The couple had one daughter, Lois Maxine.

On Dec. 24, 1944, she was married to Thomas H. Renwick in Los Angeles, Calif. She and her husband lived in Saudi Arabia for six years while Mr. Renwick was a superintendent of road construction in the oil fields. After their return to California, she operated an ice cream shop for a few years and also was an apartment building manager. Following Mr. Renwick's death in 1972, she returned to Grinnell to be near her sister.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Beatrice Kay Anderson of Temple City, Calif., and her sister, Mrs. Achsa French of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jo S. Rollins; her daughter, Mrs. Lois Maxine Ralston, who died in February of this year; and her second husband, Thomas H. Renwick.
