RITES SET FOR
MR. RENWICK

Thomas H. Renwick, 71, of Temple City, Calif., died May 15 in a hospital in Arcadia, Calif., following an extended illness.

He was born Feb. 8, 1901, in New Jersey, and since 1924 had lived in California. Most of his life, he was employed as a construction worker in oil fields in Saudi Arabia. He was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed by the Japanese. He was recalled to active duty at the beginning of World War II, serving with the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a member of the Methodist Church and a past member of the Elks Lodge.

Mr. Renwick was married to Beatrice K. Kingdon Dec. 24, 1944, at the First Methodist Church in Los Angeles. Besides his wife, he is survived by sister, Louise Klawitter of Granada Hills, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Graveside services for Mr. Renwick will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Hazelwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Leland Mann officiating. The James-Schalinske Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
