ROBERT REIMERS

Robert H. Reimers, 81, of Rte. 1, Malcom, died at his home Wednesday, Jan. 20.

Funeral services were conducted Jan. 25 at the Nevenhoven Funeral Home in Brooklyn, with Dennis Smith, minister of the Madison Church of Christ, officiating. Organist was Jan Read, and pallbearers were Marvin Keller, Mark Lang, Jim May, Dave DeVilder, David Hendrickson and Tim Siemens. Burial was in the Brooklyn Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established, and contributions may be left at the Nevenhoven Funeral Home.

The son of Harry and Rosa Ohland Reimers, he was born Sept. 7, 1911, in Sheridan Township. He received his education in rural school and Brooklyn High School.

He was married to Irma Keller Feb. 14, 1945, in rural Malcom. Mr. Reimers farmed for his entire life.

He was a member of the Madison Church of Christ, formerly serving as financial secretary and deacon of the church.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Evelyn Mason of Stanley, Wis., and Arlene Rae of Newburg; two sons, Wesley of Troutdale, Ore., and Louis of Denver, Colo.; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harley.
