MANLEY MILLS SERVICES HELD

Manley H. Mills, 73, a former resident of Grinnell and Malcom, died Friday, Feb. 19 at his home in Minneapolis, Minn.

Memorial services were conducted Wednesday at the Fridley United Methodist Church in Minneapolis. A memorial service and burial will take place at a later date in Malcom.

The son of Lewis and Anna Mills, he was born May 2, 1908, in Cannon Falls, Minn. He was married to Luella Woods on Nov. 14, 1939.

Mr Mills was employed at Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Co. for a number of years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. The family moved to Des Moines in 1961 and to Minneapolis in 1964.

He was a member of Lily Lodge No. 254 Malcom, and Northeast (??) of Minneapolis. He was also a member of Northeast Chapter 312, Order of Eastern Star in Minneapolis.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sharon Lotz; a son, Laird Mills; two grandsons; and three brothers and sisters all of Minnesota.
