MRS. LOTTIE SMITH
SERVICES TOMORROW

Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie Smith, age 68, Kellogg, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Newburg Congregational church.

Mrs. Smith died Saturday evening at a Grinnell hospital, after failing in health for some time. The Rev. Gene Mack will officiate at the services, assisted by the Rev. Mrs. Helen Turner. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was born to John and Lottie Elliott Reynolds on May 7, 1891 at Odebolt. She lived near here in the Sugar Creek neighborhood for a time, and attended the Grinnell public schools. She was graduated from Grinnell high school.

The deceased and Wesley Ray Smith were married in Grinnell on September 6, 1911. They had three children: Luverne R. Smith, Rte. No. 2, Kellogg; Mrs. Everett (Betty) Cooper, Rte. No. 2, Kellogg; and Mrs. Lawrence (Virginia) Stanley, Rte. 1, Kellogg.

Other surviving relatives include seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and eight brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the Newburg Congregational church, the Hickory Grove Homemakers Club, Newburg Fellowship, and the Hickory Grove E.U.B. Aid.

Pall bearers for the services tomorrow will be John Bailey, Roy Brown, Wallace Cloyd, Chester Humphrey, Emory Kaisand and Harold McCulloch. Flower bearers will be Mrs. Wallace Cloyd and Mrs. Harold McCulloch. Mrs. Don Renaud will be the organist, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Louden will sing.
