GRAVESIDE RITES FOR MR. BOUCHER

Elmer Boucher, 89, 913 Sixth Ave., died Tuesday, Feb. 17, at University Hospitals, Iowa City, where he had been a patient for the past two weeks after fracturing his hip.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. at Hazelwood Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Reaves, pastor of the Grinnell Assembly of God Church officiating.

He was the son of George and Nora Fisher Boucher and was born Feb. 10, 1898, in Marshall County. He had lived in Marshall County before moving to Grinnell of which he was a resident for 60 years, working as a self-employed laborer and also at Bill Ahrens' meat processing plant.

He was married May 29, 1934, in Montezuma, to Evelyn Holmes who died in 1981.

He is survived by two brothers Arlo Boucher and Clifford Boucher and a sister Susan Marie Hemphill, all of Marshalltown.

He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn and four sisters.
