James E. Belcher, 66, formerly of Grinnell, died Tuesday, March 26, in Birnamwood, Wis.
The body was cremated. No services were held.
The son of Roe Chester and Mabel Belcher, he was born Aug. 1, 1924, in Grinnell.
He is survived by his wife, Grace; four daughters, Leta Sosin of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., Barbara Jean Wisinburg of Rudolph, Wis., Cindy Belcher of Madison, Wis., and Katie Belcher, at home; three sisters, Bertha Moll of Des Moines, Nancy Lemke of Grinnell and Luvica Flathers of Oronogo, Mo.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Sue Ann; and one great-grandson.
