SERVICES HELD

Leon E. Eshenbaugh, 64, of Rome City, Ind., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died Thursday morning at Grinnell General Hospital. Mr. Eshenbaugh had been visiting his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Raynold J. Rydzinski Jr., while recuperating from recent surgery. He had been ill for six months.

Arrangements are being made by the Smith Funeral Home and the A.M. Manuel Funeral Home in North Liberty, Ind. Funeral services were held at the A.M. Manuel Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Sunday, with burial in the Orange Cemetery, Rome City.

He was born Oct. 30, 1912 in Nappanee, Ind. In June of 1936, he was married to Fanchon Wilson in Rome City. They lived in South Bend until after he retired in 1974 from the Hawthorne Mellody Farms Dairy.

He is survived by his wife; his daughter, Mrs. Fanchon Rydzinski; twin sisters, Mrs. Oliver Smith of Mishawaka, Ind., and Mrs. Gerald E. Marvel of South Bend; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Frances Mungaray, in February 1973.
