SERVICES FRIDAY
FOR MRS. IVERSON

Agnetta Iverson, 78, wife of Chris Iverson of Rte. 4, Grinnell, died suddenly Wednesday morning, April 15, at her home.

The daughter of O.B. and Lena Enerson Christianson, Mrs. Iverson was born on Aug. 4, 1891, in Grant Township south of Grinnell, and attended the rural schools in this community.

On Feb. 19, 1916 she was married to Chistopher Iverson at her parents' home and in 1966 they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Following their marriage they farmed in Chester Township for seven years and then they moved to Grant Township and farmed there until moving to their present home in 1948.

Mrs. Iverson was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Grinnell.

Survivors include her husband Christopher; two daughters--Stella Johnson of Malcom and Esther Bennett of Laurel; two sons Lawrence of Grinnell and Arthur of Malcom; 14 grandchildren; four sisters--Mrs. Mabel Stemsrud, Mrs. Iver Thorson, Mrs. Sherman Mackin and Viola Christianson all of Grinnell.

Mrs. Iverson was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson and three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Iverson will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Marcus E. Reitz, pastor of the church, will officiate.

Organist will be Doris Nothnagel; vocalist will be Ruth Dayton. Serving on the flower committee will be Mr. and Mrs. Gail Wheeler and Mr. and Mrs. Loris Adkins.

Pallbearers are Ernest Thorson, Leslie Eilertson, Clinton Stemsrud, Bert Stemsrud, Lester Osborn and Raymond Osborn.

Burial will be in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Marshalltown, Iowa. Friends may call at the James-Schalinske Funeral Home.
