JESSIE SEE

Jessie "Buddy" See, 79, of Grinnell died of congestive heart failure Saturday, Feb. 14, at Friendship Manor.

A graveside service was conducted Tuesday at Westfield Cemetery south of Grinnell, with the Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

He was the son of Mack and Caroline Bowen See and was born May *14, 1918, in Alden. He lived in Illinois and Grinnell most of his life, working as a handyman.

He is survived by one daughter, Nora Edward of Du Quoin, Ill.; one son, Charles of Du Quoin; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Gladys Johnson and Ethel Beason, both of Grinnell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Memorials may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Newton.
