SERVICES TODAY
FOR ROSA M. SEE

Rosa M. See, 71, of 505 Main St., Grinnell, passed away Friday at the Lone Elm Nursing Home following an extended illness.

The daughter of Frederick and Marie Shallow Kahler, she was born July 24, 1898, at Green Castle, Iowa. She attended schools in Oxford, Iowa, and on Aug. 14, 1898, was baptised in the Lutheran church and later confirmed.

On July 29, 1916, she was married to Jack See. Four children were born to the couple: Mrs. Ernest (Evelyn) Mitchell of Brooklyn, Lawrence See of Des Moines, Marion See of Grinnell, and Mrs. Paul (Betty) Bullers of Grinnell.

She is survived by her children, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three sisters and four brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother.

Funeral services for Mrs. See were held at 2 p.m. today (Monday) at the James-Schalinske Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elmer Elzey, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, officiating. Organist was Mrs. Kathleen Heffner.

Pallbearers included Harold Belcher, Harvey Belcher, Clarence See, William Belcher, Bernard Sheets and Larry Sheets. Honorary pallbearer was Leonard Lemke. Mrs. Eleanor Murk, Mrs. Edward Rutledge and Mrs. Cecil Wallers served on the flower committee.
