Lucille "Peg" See, 62, of the Rock Creek area died Saturday evening, April 12, at Grinnell General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Reaves of the Assembly of God Church officiating. Organist will be Naomi Reaves. Burial will be in the Westfield Cemetery.

The daughter of Ward and Emma Betz Pagel, she was born in Columbia Township, Tama County, on June 24, 1923. She attended rural schools in Tama County and graduated from Brooklyn High School n 1941.

On June 28, 1942, she was married to Marion Floyd See at Lancaster, Mo. The couple lived in Grinnell until 1964 when they moved to their home near Rock Creek Lake. Mrs. See worked at the former Rex Cigar Store and the Four Winds Motel and owned Peg's Country Store near Rock Creek Lake. She was president and trustee of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Marion; her daughters. Donna Lee Tiedemann and Jody Lucille Phipps, both of Rock Creek; four grandchildren; her mother; and one brother, Merl "Bud" Pagel of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her father.
