HAZEL REAMS SERVICES SET

Hazel May Reams, 85, died of a blood disorder and kidney ailment Wednesday afternoon, April 17, at St. Francis Manor.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sheridan Cemetery, with the Rev. William Schlobohn officiating. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.

The daughter of Albert and Emma Blair Hull, she was born April 4, 1900, at Morning Sun. She attended Morning Sun schools and later graduated from St. Luke's Nursing School in Cedar Rapids.

She was married to W. Weaver Reams in April 1936 at Morning Sun. The couple lived in Cedar Rapids. She also did private-duty nursing in the Cedar Rapids area. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids and the American Red Cross Nursing Association, also in Cedar Rapids. She had lived at St. Francis Manor since September 1982.

Survivors include two daughters, Lois Maxine Reams of Santa Anna, Calif., and Geraldine Louise Swanson of Riviera, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
