MRS. P.A. REAMS
DIES IN BROOKLYN

Lucy Graham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Graham, was born in Clearfield Co. Penn., April 20th, 1862, and died at her home in Brooklyn, Iowa, Feb. 27, 1926, aged 63 years, 10 months and 7 days. When but a child the family moved to Iowa and located on a farm about eleven miles northwest of Brooklyn which was her home until her marriage to P.A. Reams on Mar. 1st, 1882. Their married life began in Madison Township, and they spent more than 20 years there until they moved to Brooklyn. Three children were born to them: Ada, now Mrs. Ernest Roudabush of Brooklyn; Ray, who resides on the home farm; and Leonard who is in the U.S. Navy and at the present time is in Panama and was unable to come home for the funeral.

Besides her husband and three children she leaves three grand children, two brothers, and three sisters to mourn her loss.

Mrs. Reams was a true Christian woman, a member of the Methodist church and was present at the church services on Sunday before her death.

The funeral services were conducted by her pastor Rev. Mr. Fowler in the Church at Brooklyn, which was filled with relatives and friends who paid their last tribute to one whom they loved.

Burial was in the family lot at Kent Cemetery in Madison township. Pall bearers were chosen from old time friends and neighbors of the family, A.H. Read, Fred Read, A.J. Edgington, Geo. Stone, Albert Lawrence and S.S. Ormiston.
