WAYNE REAMS RITES TUESDAY

Wayne S. Reams, 88, of 1331 Spring St., Grinnell, died at his home Saturday evening, Jan. 10.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Schlobohn, pastor of the Sheridan United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Sheridan Township Cemetery north of Grinnell.

Memorials in Mr. Reams' name may be left at the Smith Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Edna; one son, Merle of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Ralph Reams of Grinnell; and a sister, Florence Johnston of Sioux City.

RITES HELD FOR
WAYNE REAMS

Wayne S. Reams, 88, of 1331 Spring St., Grinnell, died Saturday, Jan. 10, at his home.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Schlobohn of the Malcom-Sheridan Parish officiating. Organist was Donna Overturf Johnson, and vocalist was Debbie Reams.

Pallbearers were Ed Carpenter, Earl Heishman, Ross Mintle, Willie Morrison, Bob Puls and Cliff Strovers. Honorary bearers were David Anthony, Leo Flanagan, Lester Heishman, Earl Lamb, Art McDowell and Charles Vogel. Burial was in the Sheridan Cemetery northeast of Grinnell.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

The son of James and Belle Sterling Reams, he was born on March 9, 1898, near Malcom.

He was married to Edna Mary Schultz on Feb. 4, 1920, in Sheridan Township, and the couple farmed in Sheridan Township for over 40 years.
