RITES SET FOR MRS. WEISER

Jeanie M. Weiser, 60, of 1404 West St., died Friday afternoon at Friendship Manor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Marcus Reitz officiating. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.

Memorials in Mrs. Weiser's name may be made to the Bremwood Children's Home at Waverly.

The daughter of Harry J. and Daisy Fleener Holmes, she was born Jan. 21, 1920, near Kellogg. She attended elementary school in Rock Creek Township and graduated from Grinnell High School in 1937. For 8-1/2 years, she taught in rural Poweshiek County schools.

She was married to Robert Marvin Weiser on April 19, 1941, at Trenton, Mo. The couple had three sons. Mr. and Mrs. Weiser had lived in Grinnell for all but six months of their marriage.

Mrs. Weiser was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Lydia Circle of the A.L.C.W. and the National T.T.T. Society Chapter A?.

She is survived by her sons, Lt. James H. Weiser of the U.S. Air Force in the Philippines, R. Scott Weiser of Des Moines and John D. Weiser of Grinnell; a granddaughter; and two step-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, John C. Holmes.
