EDNA KAISAND
DIES IN TEXAS

Mrs. Edna Kaisand, 88, died Nov. 15 in a nursing home in Gonzales, Tex.

The daughter of Mary Jane and John Francis Flynn she was born at Rock Creek, Ia., on Sept. 14, 1886. She was married to Jacob Carl Kaisand on Dec. 30, 1908, in Grinnell. The couple had a daughter, Mrs. Mary Crews of Gonzales, and a son, Francis Marten Kaisand, who died in 1963.

Mrs. Kaisand was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gonzales.

She is survived by her husband and her daughter, a granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son.

Services for Mrs. Kaisand were held Monday, Nov. 18, in the Seydler-Hill Chapel in Gonzales. Officiating were Claude F. O'Neall, H.A. Lee, and Herman Murph. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Gonzales.
