Charles B. Kriegel, 72, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away on Thursday, Sept.21, 2010, at home. Private family services were held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brooklyn Community Foundation/Kent Chapel, (or BCF/Kent Chapel Rehab Fund), P.O. Box 68, Brooklyn, Iowa, 52211.
Charles was born Nov. 28, 1937, in Brooklyn, the son of Balzer Peter and Theodosia Newton Kriegel. He retired from the Federal Railroad Association.
Charles is survived by his wife, Packie, of the home; son, Pete, and wife Amber; daughter, Dovelle, and fiancé, Jamie Burnam; son, K.C., and wife, Rachel; grandchildren Kaelon and Bella; sisters, Neoma Patten and Karen Moore. Arrangements were by Cremation Society of Kansas & Missouri, Kansas City, Mo. Online condolences may be left at www.kccremation.com.
