RITES HELD FOR
MR. WARWICK

William Breauneau Warwick, 77, died Saturday, Jan. 28, at Friendship Manor, Grinnell.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma with the Rev. James T. Ross, pastor of the West Liberty Church of Christ, officiating. Vocal music was by Carol Dale, and organist was Verla Van Dee. Pallbearers were Randy Fowler, Steve Fowler, Daniel Kubik, Mark Kubik, Tracy Warwick and Eldon Van Wyk. Burial was in the Barnes City Cemetery in Barnes City.

He was born Oct. 13, 1906, near Barnes City, the son of Homer and Hattie Essley Warwick. He attended and graduated from Barnes City High School. On June 18, 1927, he was united in marriage with Helen Ketels. The couple farmed in the Barnes City, Deep River and Montezuma areas before moving to a farm near Grinnell in 1961. They moved into Grinnell in September, 1983. He had been a member of the Farm Bureau.

Survivors are his wife Helen, Grinnell; two daughters, Charlene Ann Johnson, Toledo, and Martha Mae Fowler, Grinnell; two sons, Gale Dean Warwick of Wadesboro, N.C., and William Clyde Warwick of Deep River; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Vyvenne Freeborn, Montezuma.
