RICHARD CLAUSSEN

Richard Claussen, 67, of Montezuma, died Monday, March 6, 2006, at his home. The body was cremated and no services were held. Watts Funeral Home of Montezuma was in charge of the arrangements.

Richard was born June 18, 1938, (Social Security has 1939) at Newton, the son of Clifford Claussen and Ada (George) Claussen Kennedy. He was in the Navy.

Richard is survived by his mother, Ada Kennedy, of Grinnell, and two sisters, Shirley Dean of Newton and Sharon Brandon-Caldwell of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford, and his wife, Beverly, in 1986, and their stillborn baby.
