C.H. MCDONALD

John McDonald received word Wednesday of the death of his father, C.H. McDonald, April 7, at the home of his grandson, Warren McDonald, in Port Angeles, Wash., of paralysis.

Mr. McDonald is an old resident of Grinnell. Born in Putnam county, Ohio, he came here in 1845, when 14 years old. He remained until 1901 when he spent five years in California, then returned and remained until five years ago. Since then he has been in Montana, California and Washington.

He is survived b three of his five children, John of this city, George of Port Angeles, Wash., and Mrs. Anne Grovenburgh of Lassen, Calif.

Interment was in Port Angeles.
