Died, July 17, Mrs. Matilda McDonald, wife of David McDonald, at their home three miles south of Ewart. The funeral took place at the Christian church the 18th at 3 p.m., Rev. M. Gregson of Searsboro conducting the services. Deceased was an old and respected citizen, always having a good word for all with whom she met. Born in 1830 she lived to a ripe old age, having passed her three score and ten. She leaves an aged husband, one son, J.B. Jackman of Union township, and one daughter, Mrs. Alpha McIntire of Sugar Creek, to mourn her death.
