Funeral services for Charlotte Ellen Ladely Icenbice were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, in the Steffy Funeral Home by Rev. William Morehouse of the Deep River Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Icenbice, vocalists, were accompanied by Mrs. Clint Icenbice on the organ.

Interment was in Golden Rod cemetery, Deep River. Casket bearers were Ivan Icenbice, Bill Icenbice, Kenneth Icenbice, Donald Jacks, William H. Jacks and Wesley Klenk.

Charlotte was the 8th child of William and Cornelia Slack Ladely and was born Mar. 13, 1868, on a farm near Brooklyn, and died Feb. 18 at Montezuma. She was 93 years of age.

She was united in marriage with Ivan J. Icenbice Dec. 13, 1904, and to this union two children were born. Her husband died in Oct. 1918.

Surviving are a son, Ernest L. Icenbice, Deep River; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Jack, Ladora; five grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
