IRENE M. KLINE, 82

Irene Kline, 82, of Macon, Mo., passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996 at her home.

Graveside services were held at the Jackson Township Cemetery, at Montezuma. The Rev. Warren James officiated.

Irene Maxine Kline was born on March 4, 1914 in Mahaska County, the daughter of Ernest Cleveland and Daisy Ethel Foster Robertson. She attended rural schools and graduated from the Deep River High School. She married Rex Kline on June 3, 1938 at Grinnell. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Macon and the Floriculture Club of Kirksville. She was an avid gardener and had lived most of her married life in Missouri. She moved to Macon from Eldon, Mo. in December of 1982.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex; her parents; one son, Neil Thomas in 1952; two brothers, Howard and Max Robertson; and one sister, AlVada Greene.

Irene is survived by her brother, Leland and wife, Marie Robertson of Oskaloosa, one sister-in-law, Wanda Robertson of Barnes City; and several nieces and nephews.

Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home of Macon, Mo. were in charge of the services.
