Joseph J. Romani, 72, San Jose, Calif., husband of Ruth Pederson Romani, formerly of Grinnell, died Feb. 16 in San Jose. Funeral services and burial were in San Jose.
He was a land developer and businessman in San Jose. With Mrs. Romani, a retired teacher, he was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the Foundation to Assist California Teachers.
In addition to Mrs. Romani he is survived by two daughters, Patricia Cachopo, Santa Clara, Calif., and Sandra Tate, San Jose; eight grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
