Reuben C. Hawkinson, 88, of Grinnell, formerly of Ottumwa, died Saturday, Jan. 25, at St. Francis Manor.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church in Ottumwa. Private family graveside services will be conducted Tuesday evening at the Ottumwa Cemetery. Friends may call at the Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa.

Mr. Hawkinson is survived by two daughters, Greta Young of Denver, Colo., and Marsha Bachman of Grinnell; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
