Lela Rutledge Tracy, 90, died Friday, March 19, at the Mayflower.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Novinger-Taylor Funeral Home in Bedford, with burial in Lexington Cemetery.
She was born in Grinnell Nov. 24, 1902, and was a graduate of Grinnell High School and Grinnell College. She had taught in Sharpsburg, Conway and Bedford schools for over 50 years.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, P.E.O. and the Iowa Education Association.
Surviving are a daughter, Jeanette Hoskins of York, Neb., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
