RITES HELD FOR MR. AUGUSTINE

Frank R. Augustine, 70, of Crawfordsville died Sunday, July 22 at his home.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roland Crandall officiating. Burial was in New Haven Cemetery.

The son of Jessie and Pearl Wolfe Augustine, he was born June 21, 1914, in Washington County. He had lived most of his life in Washington County.

Mr. Augustine was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and the New Haven Baptist Church. He had last worked for Owens Construction Co. in Crawfordsville.

Survivors include his mother, Pearl Augustine of Grinnell; two brothers, Keith and Archer, both of Washington; and two sisters, Iris Barker and Mildred Riley, both of Grinnell.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Albert; and one sister, Alice Arnold.
