ALBERT D. ADAMS
FUNERAL MONDAY

Albert D. Adams was born in Pennsylvania May 3, 1856 and passed away Saturday afternoon at his home at 1415 Spencer St. His family moved to Iowa when he was a small boy, settling at Montezuma. He was married to Emma Nancy Johnson, March 24, 1878. 8 children were born to this union, six of whom are still living as follows:

Mrs. R.V. Hurd, Detroit; Mrs. Arthur Sear, Des Moines; Mrs. LeRoy Guile, Oskaloosa; Mrs. Lucille Adams, Des Moines, J.C. Adams, Oskaloosa; Cliff Adams, Grinnell.

He was a member of the M.E. church and Odd Fellows. The family moved to Grinnell in 1904 where they have resided since.

They celebrated their golden wedding in Grinnell March 23, 1928, all of the family being present.

Funeral services were held from the Methodist church Monday afternoon conducted by Dr. A.B. Cadwell with the Odd Fellows in charge. Burial was at Montezuma.

Miss Helen Sear of Des Moines and Mrs. Pearl Barnes of Oskaloosa sang.
