PAULA R. ANDERSON

Paula R. Anderson, 54, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Grinnell, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at her home following a sudden illness.

Services were held Wednesday, May 13, at Papich-Kuba Janeba Chapel West in Cedar Rapids led by the Rev. Del Bear. Cremation followed the funeral service.

She was born Jan. 14, 1955, in Grinnell and had lived in Cedar Rapids since 1973. She married Charles E. Anderson on Oct. 20, 1973, in Grinnell. She had been employed at Cargill Inc., for a number of years and currently was employed at Pine Needles Sewing Center and Quilt Store. She loved to quilt and sew and had made quilts for every member of her family. She also enjoyed flower gardening.

She is survived by her husband Charles, her daughters Regina Ann of Marion and Rebecca Jo of Anamosa; her parents Donald and Doris Weaver of Grinnell; her sisters Belinda Michael of Iowa City and Pamela Kay Sexton of Marion and her brother Michael Weaver of Cranberry Township, Pa.
