Barbara J. Roby, 38, of 1306 E. 33rd St. died of renal failure Saturday at Woodbury West Health Care Center, 1211 Vine St., West Des Moines. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Palo Alto Cemetery in Newton.

Mrs. Roby, a homemaker, was born in Newton and had lived in Des Moines since 1977.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; a daughter, Tiffany Mae Roby, at home; and three sisters, Marilyn Shaffer of Des Moines, Charly Gregory of Grinnell and Bonnie Van Rees of Lynnville.

Friends may call after noon Monday at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, and where a vigil service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register Sun 4 July 1993.
