DIES DEC. 13Genevieve Elizabeth Miller of 711-1/2 Seventh Avenue, Grinnell, died late Saturday evening, Dec. 13, at Grinnell General Hospital. She was 45 years old.
Miller was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 30, 1930 to Michael J. and Elizabeth Schweers Hamelburg. She attended Brooklyn public schools. She was married on March 20, 1954, to Paul Lester Miller. The couple had two daughters, Elizabeth and Ann.
Following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Miller made their home in Brooklyn, New York, Osceola, Oskaloosa and Victor, Iowa. She moved to Grinnell in May of 1974.
Survivors include her two daughters, Elizabeth Emily Miller, age 19 and Ann Emily Miller, age 18, both of Grinnell; her father, Michael of New York City; one sister, Mrs. Emily Mahler of Patchoque, N.Y.; and one half-brother, Fred Buschbaum of Jamaica, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her mother.
The Mass of the Resurrection was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Victor with Monsignor Greeg, pastor of the church officiating. The Vigil service was held at 8 p.m. Dec. 16 at the McAninch funeral Chapel. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at Victor.
