SERVICES HELD

Jane A. Switzer, 33, the wife of Jerry L. Switzer of 1310 Elm St., died suddenly Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Las Vegas, Nev.

She was born March 16, 1939, in Albuquerque, N.M., and graduated from Albuquerque High School. On Dec. 17, 1958, she was married to Jerry L. Switzer at Ft. Stanton, N.M. The couple had two children--Corrine E. Switzer, 12, and Jerry L. Switzer, 6. Mr. and Mrs. Switzer met while Mr. Switzer was stationed at Kirkland AFB, N.M., and in 1960 they were transferred to Grand Forks, N.D. Following his discharge, they moved to St. Paul, Minn.; in 1964 they came to Grinnell to make their home and were associated with Mr. Switzer's parents in the operation of Motel Grinnell.

Mrs. Switzer was a member of the United Church of Christ-Congregational and had been a member of the League of Women Voters.

She is survived by her husband Jerry; her daughter and son, Corrine and Jerry Jr.; her mother, Mrs. Emma Howard of Stockton, Calif.; her two brothers, Frank Howard of Albuquerque and Jim Howard of Tracy, Calif.; two uncles Abram Nungesser of Albuquerque and Tilmon R. Nungesser Sr. of Huntsville, Tex.; one aunt, Mrs. Eleanor Maynard of Stockton; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Switzer of Grinnell.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Church of Christ-Congregational, with the Rev. Newell E. Davis, minister of the church, officiating. Organist was Elbert Smith, and pallbearers included Paul W. Ahrens, David C. DeLong, Tom Lannom, James A. Paschall, Richard Ramsey, Larry Crawford, and Harris Wagaman.

Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery.
