DOLORES STIMSON

Dolores F. Stimson, 72, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Grinnell, died of cancer Wednesday, May 7, at Normandy Terrace Nursing Home in San Antonio.

Graveside services were conducted Monday at Sheridan Cemetery, with Carol Wehr officiating.

She was born May 31, 1924, in Marion to Vernon and Sarah Stiles Clemans. She was raised in Marion and attended schools there.

She was married to Darrell Stimson Nov. 30, 1947, in Marion. They lived in Grinnell where they owned and operated Stimson TV. They moved to San Antonio in December 1986. While living there, she was a member of San Pedro Presbyterian Church, the San Antonio Newcomers, the Hospitality Club of San Antonio, the Salvation Army and Beta Sigma Phi.

Surviving are two sons, Craig of San Antonio and Martin of Center Point.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
