RUSSELL RUGG DIES FRIDAY

Russell Rugg, 77, the brother of Mrs. Clarence (Ella) Scobee of Grinnell, died Friday at Oelwein.

Funeral services for Mr. Rugg were planned at the Brant-Kerns Funeral Home in Oelwein, with burial at Memorial Gardens in Cedar Falls.

Mr. Rugg was born May 30, 1900, in Grundy County. He had lived in Cedar Falls for most of his life. He was a veteran of World War I. For the past several years, he had lived in Clear Lake.

He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Scobee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah.
