A.H. BURCH DIES
IN BROOLYN OF
A HEART ATTACK

A.H. Burch, who for many years farmed 12 miles southeast of Grinnell, died very suddenly of a heart attack Friday evening in his home in Brooklyn. Mr. Burch had moved to Brooklyn when he retired four years ago. He was 84 years old and he and Mrs. Burch were looking forward to celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary on Feb. 27. Mr. Burch had come into the house at 5:30 p.m., had turned on the radio and had sat down to listen to the news. When Mrs. Burch found him fifteen minutes later, he had passed away.

Besides his wife he is survived by four children, Mrs. A.M. Sevenbergen of Grinnell, Harley Burch of Brooklyn, Mrs. John Fuerst of Malcom and Ellsworth Burch of Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Brooklyn Methodist church with burial in the Malcom cemetery.
