Obituary dated April 29, 1930

FUNERAL SERVICES
FOR MRS. KEENAN

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Keenan were held from St. Mary's church, conducted by Rev. Father M.J. Hannon, Monday morning. Interment was in Hazelwood cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Frank Black, Cross Smith, John James, Jimmie Hotchkin, Con See, and Alex Barr.

Mrs. Sarah Keenan, daughter of Michael and Arminda See, was born in Story County, Iowa, April 9, 1859 an departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.L. Robison, on April 25, 1930, at the age of 71 years and 16 days.

She was united in marriage on May 24, 1883 to William Keenan at Grinnell.

To this union were born ten children, four dying in infancy.

The surviving children left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother are: Mrs. Clarence Garrett, Mrs. Roy Beason, Mrs. Leonard Robison, Mrs. Hazel Marcusson and Francis Keenan all of Grinnell and William (Bud) Keenan of Los Angeles, California.

She also leaves three brothers and one sister, John See of North Dakota, Mack See and Mike See both of Grinnell and Mollie Waldo of Dows, Iowa together with 19 grandchildren.
